Faculty/Staff E-Mail Accounts
- Faculty/Staff E-Mail Account Usernames will be a maximum of 8 characters.
Unless there's a duplicate, it will be the first 7 characters of the last name and then first character
of the first name is used. To see if your account has been created, search
the On-line
Directory.
- Your initial password will be your 7-digit campus ID number. You must change your password
before you can check your E-Mail. To change your E-Mail password, you
must use the link on the Webmail page, or if you have Eudora (Windows or Mac) configured for you, select
Special/Change Password. Enter your ID number as your
Old Password, or if prompted by Eudora. New passwords cannot be a word
found in the mail server's dictionary and must be at least 6 letter characters and or
numbers. See Password
Guidelines
- The two E-Mail programs supported by Academic Computing are Eudora
and WebMail. Call Academic Computing Help Desk at 424-3020
or E-Mail acshelp@uwosh.edu to request a Eudora configuration. For WebMail visit this page.
- Faculty and Staff can keep their E-Mail account into retirement, but
you must notify Academic Computing to request this.
