The following instructions will assist you in initiating a full system scan for viruses.

 

  1. Double click the yellowish-gold shield in the system tray at the bottom right of your screen.
  2. On the left hand pane of the window that appears. Select 'Full Scan' under Symantec Antivirus->Scan
  3. On the right hand pane of the same window. Click the 'Scan' button.
  4. A window similar to the one below will appear once the scan has begun, any infection will appear in this window. Once the scan is completed it will say 'Scan completed.'
