How to Log Out of Your Novell Account
on a Windows NT Workstation

It is extremely important that you log out of your Novell account before leaving a workstation. If you do not, the next person to use the workstation will have access to your account and your files. These instructions will take you through the process of logging out of your Novell account from a Windows NT Workstation.

Step 1. Carefully save all your work, and close all the programs you were running. If you are using a diskette, be sure you allow enough time for the PC to finish writing to the diskette before you proceed.

Step 2. Click on the "Start" button and click on "Shut Down..." The "Shut Down Windows" dialog box will open.

Step 3. Click on "Close all programs and log on as a different user?" and click on "Yes". The PC will log you out and, after a few moments, return to the "Begin Login" screen.

Congratulations! You have finished logging out of your Novell account.
