Opting out of Extra Spam Filtering

In order to remove more of the spam that is received in your account but ensure that you do not miss important messages, we will filter spam to a folder in you account called Spam. If you would like to opt out of this filtering, you may create a filter that will take precidence over the systemwide filter that sends mail to the Spam folder.

Instructions

Selecting the options tab

  1. After logging into TitanMail, select the Options tab
  2. Select the Mail options tab if it is not already selected
  3. Select the Mail Filters page
  4. Click the New... button to create a new filter.

Fields needed for options

  1. In the Filter Name field you can give the filter a name
  2. Make sure Match all incoming messages is selected.
Note: If you want to only exclude certain messages that are being sent to your Spam folder, you can put conditions in the rule and select select Match Any of the Following Conditions.
  3. Make sure Move message to the folder has the Inbox as the selected value
  4. Click Save to save the filter

If you already other filters created, you will want to make sure this new filter is at the bottom of the list. By default it will create any new filters at the bottom but you will need to move it to the bottom if you create any new filters after this filter. This will insure any other filters you create are not overriden.

You can move it to the bottom by select the new filter (1) and use the Move Down (2) button to place the new filter at the bottom of your list. Repeat this until the filter is listed last.
