Mailing Lists can ONLY be sponsored by groups associated with the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. You are expected to maintain the mailing list. This will involve general housekeeping duties, approving (if appropriate) subscriptions and postings, and some other small tasks needed to keep your list running smoothly. We will forward bounced mail from your list to you, so that you can take the appropriate action (usually unsubscribing the list member). WARNING: Maintaining a list can be an involved process. If an unusually high number of support calls for performing "housekeeping" duties are logged, your list privileges may be revoked.
List name: NO SPACES, COMMAS, &'s, or SLASHES. The list server maintainer reserves the right to change the name of any list.
Owner's E-Mail address: This is the E-Mail address of the list owner. This may be the same as the person who is requesting the list. If it is the same, you still need to enter the E-Mail address here.
Description: This field allows you to submit a short description of your list. There is a limit of 50 characters in the description.
This section allows you to set some of the configuration parameters when the list is created.
Post Policy: Do you need to be subscribed to the list to post a message to it? Yes No
Moderated? Should this list be moderated? This parameter determines if every message should be approved by the list owner before going to the list. Yes No
Archived? Should the list be archived? Archived lists maintain an index of all messages sent to the list. Yes No
