This Eudora is now configured to log into your UW Oshkosh E-Mail account from home after connecting to your ISP.
To Add a Personality to Eudora Pro
Adding personalities will allow you to check multiple E-Mail accounts from the same Eudora icon.
You need Eudora Pro to create Personalities. As we installed Eudora above, we made username@uwosh.edu the
first or “dominant” personality. The first account entered when install Eudora Pro will be the “dominate” personality.
To add your ISP’s E-Mail address as an Eudora Personality.

Create
Separate Mailboxes for Multiple E-Mail Accounts
You can
use this method as an alternative to using Personalities. Eudora Lite does not have the Personality feature.
You
will create a separate folder (directory), with a different Eudora icon. In
this method you will have separate
mailboxes for each account.
Step 1 – You only need to install Eudora Pro or Lite once. The first account would have it’s mailboxes created in the
folder where you installed Eudora
(c:\Eudora preferably).

Step 10.
Double-click on the new icon. The Eudora wizard should
launch.
Step 11.
Go to Page 2 and enter the same new account information except for the E-Mail address and (Incoming Server).
In this example you would enter your ISP E-Mail address (i.e., user@northnet.net for the E-Mail address and
mail.northnet.net for the Incoming server. The Outgoing SMTP server would be mail.northnet.net in both example configurations.
Contact your ISP if you have questions on what these are.
Once complete; go through the Tools/Options like you did in the first configuration on Page 5.
You now should have two Eudora icons, one configured for your UW Oshkosh E-Mail address and one for your ISP.
You do not need to use Personalities when creating two separate icons and directories.
