Computer Lab Guidelines
The following policies have been established for using Academic Computing’s General Access Computer Labs to create a positive work environment.
  • The computer labs are for authorized users only (UW Oshkosh students, faculty, and staff). Visitors outside the University are not allowed to use the labs. You may be asked to show your Titan Card for identification.

  • Provide a quiet atmosphere. Social conversation should be taken outside or to Reeve Union. Computer labs are a quiet study area.

  • Cell phone use is prohibited. Turn ringers off and take cellphone conversations outside the lab.

  • No food or drink allowed in the labs. Meals and snacks should be consumed in Reeve Union or Blackhawk Commons.

  • Respect fellow patrons by keeping lab printing to a reasonable level.

  • The labs are equipped with state-owned computers for academic pursuit only. Inappropriate viewing and game playing are strictly prohibited, violation may result in loss of computer lab privileges and/or disciplinary action.

  • No bikes or rollerblades are allowed in the labs.
