Card Access Computer Labs Radford Basement Computer Lab All currently registered students have Card Access. This Lab is a staffed 24 hours/7 days a week during the regular semester/Interim and Summer sessions. Regular “open” hours are listed on the Lab Hours schedule or by going to: http://www.acs.uwosh.edu/acslabs/radford.shtml After these listed hours student access is gained by: a) scanning their TitanCard through the Card Reader at the Radford outside (elevator) doorway; b) taking the elevator to the basement level c) swiping their TitanCard through the card reader at the Computer Lab entrance doorway. As an example of how this works: from Monday through Thursday the outside building doors to Radford are locked at 10:00 PM and are opened at 7:00 AM. During this time period users would need to swipe their TitanCard to gain access.
The Linux Lab is Card Access only. This room is a part of the Halsey 101 Computer Lab complex. Students will need a “Linux account” to utilize this Lab. Students who would like a Linux account or are having problems accessing this lab should go to the Dempsey 207 help desk with their TitanCard. Students are not automatically placed on the Linux Card Access database. Typically an instructor would forward a class list for access purposes – these are mostly Computer Science related courses. When the Academic Computing dept. adds students to the Card Access database, they swipe their TitanCard through the card reader to gain access.
