7/1/07 - Q: and student U: drives unavailable
residual result of June 30 power outage
The storage array for the Student server did not come back up after the June 30th power outage. The data has NOT been lost. It is just not accessible right now. You will not be able to reach files on the Q: drive or, if you are a student, you will not be able to reach files on your U: drive. Employee U: drive folders are stored on a different server that recovered as expected from the power outage.
A replacement part for the student storage array has been ordered. We will make every effort to expedite the delivery and installation of this part. At this time the earliest we anticipate having the storage array available is noon on Tuesday, July 3. My apologies for this inconvenience.
